DMG Events continues emphasis on Asian energy markets

After another extremely successful run of events in Asia in 2015, event organisers dmg :: events (Global Energy) will continue to place emphasis on Asian energy markets.

2016 will see the launch of 2 new events and the return of an existing event; the Gas Indonesia Summit (GIS) & Exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia, the Pacific LNG Summit in Tokyo, Japan and the Gas Asia Summit in Singapore respectively.

The GIS comes after dmg :: events and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Indonesia hosted a Spotlight on Indonesia at Gastech in Singapore last year, highlighting the investment and infrastructure opportunities available in Indonesia. Together with the recent changes in governance and the restructuring of Indonesia’s oil policy, the GIS will provide Indonesian and international stakeholders a platform to network and discuss future investment, trade and industry development opportunities in South East Asia.

In North Asia, dmg :: events plans to launch the Pacific LNG Summit in response to the growing need for the LNG industry to come together and collaborate to move beyond challenges in the low oil price environment. The Summit will uniquely connect senior energy leaders from the Pacific Rim – Asia, Oceania, and the Americas – a region that is increasingly shaping and leading the way in the evolving LNG industry.

In Singapore, dmg :: events will continue to connect the energy industry through the Gas Asia Summit & Exhibition. The summit and exhibition will be the legacy event to Gastech Singapore, and the revival of the event from its hiatus will also incorporate technical elements from the Asia Pacific Small & Mid-Scale LNG Forum.

While 2016 will be an exciting year ahead for dmg :: events, plans are also already underway for 2017. Continuing the success stories in Korea in 2014 and Singapore in 2015, dmg :: events will bring Gastech Conference & Exhibition – one of its flagship events – to Japan in April 2017. Sales for the 2017 event started in October last year when the event took place in Singapore, and already 70% of the exhibition space has been reserved and sold.

With its events in Asia across 2016 and 2017, dmg :: events will continue its commitment to keeping businesses informed, connecting the energy community, creating commerce within the marketplaces it serves and adapting to the industry’s ever-changing needs.
