Veresen Inc, the company behind Jordan Cove LNG and Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline, has announced that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has postponed the issuing of the final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) from the original date of 27 February to 12 June 2015.

Don Althoff, President and CEO of Veresen, expressed his disappointment with the delay: “Given the delay from the FERC in issuing our Draft EIS, we had anticipated that the first schedule was under pressure. While we are disappointed in the revised schedule, we are not surprised or concerned, and look forward to receiving our final EIS from the FERC in June.”

The company reacted to the delay in receiving the final EIS by reviewing the project schedule.
